What It Is

Crayola’s latest innovative product, Color Surge, is a marker and paper system that when used together cause the marker’s colors to pop and take on a surprisingly bright appearance.

The markers come in a variety of colors such as Shocking Blue and Laser Green as well as Crazy Tips, which have different tips to create unique effects and lines.

Why It's Fun

Color Surge is more than just “really bright markers” – the colors literally seem to shine when applied to the paper. The typical response when people see this process in action is “Wow”!

Crayola has found a way to bring excitement to something as simple as paper and markers and when you consider that there is nothing to plug in, charge up, or download, that’s pretty impressive.

Who's Going To Love It

Color Surge will appeal to a huge audience. Basically, anyone that may find themselves using markers for a creative project will want to check these out. As far as how young is too young – wait until a child has outgrown crayons or knows that they shouldn’t be coloring on walls.
