What It Is
The Ballparks of America Map Baseball is a real handmade baseball that features a map of America, highlighting the most famous ballparks around the country. As you turn the ball over in your hand, you will see such ballparks as Fenway Park, Yankee Stadium, Camden Yards, Wrigley Field, Busch Stadium, Dodger Stadium, and many more in their respective states.
Why It's Fun
Baseball fans love trivia—the more the better. When we gave this to a 10-year old fan, he instantly looked for all the parks he knew and was impressed to see that everything was up to date.
For kids who are real fans (adults, too), pat of the fun is displaying this unusual keepsake and being able to show off something that’s not a run-of-the-mill collectible. We also found that it inspired some games including guessing which state a field was in, or naming the field and having to identify the team that played there.
This is definitely not a ball to play with, but it’s a great and unique gift item for the baseball fans in your family.
Who's Going To Love It
This is a great gift for a true baseball fanatic of any age or gender. The Ballparks of America Map Baseball could be a nice way to commemorate a child’s first trip to a ballpark for a game or would make a great addition to any fan’s collection.
What To Be Aware Of
Although this is a real baseball, it is not intended for actual game use. These are collectible items for display on a desk or shelf. |
