a.r.m. 4000 XL Aquatic Revenge Machine

Ohio Art
Ages 8 and Up

What It Is

Those hot summer soak fests are about to get a whole lot wetter! Ohio Art has unleashed the a.r.m. 4000XL Aquatic Revenge Machine on the water fighting arena, and its one serious—and fun—piece of equipment.

The a.r.m. is a water gun that straps on to one arm and is attached to a Water-Pack backpack that holds up to 2 liters of water. It looks a lot like a robotic arm and should score big points for the intimidation factor when going up against kids with “ordinary” water guns.

But here’s why it’s so cool – the water gun has a Water Biceptor that you attach to your upper arm, you fill the Water Biceptor with water from the pack by pumping your arm then pull the trigger and release a blast of water that stretches up to thirty feet and lasts for up to thirty seconds. That’s a powerful pump! It’s like having a portable hose and water supply wherever the water gun battle takes you.

Why It’s Fun

When it comes to water guns, it’s all about getting wet, or getting someone else wet. And nothing soaks your friends, or enemies, like the a.r.m. The creative one-arm feature means you have a free hand for climbing or holding a shield while soaking someone else at the same time.

Moreover, the a.r.m. helps kids overcome one of the big drawbacks of those powerful water guns. Smaller kids generally have a hard time working the pump, running and taking on opponents. The a.r.m. is so well designed that any kid who can bend his or her elbow can make it work.

Who’s Going To Love It

Well, sure kids in the target age range are going to love it. But we think that it’s going to be a hit with college kids as well…and not a few grown-ups.

What To Be Aware Of

The a.r.m. attaches to your arm with various straps and adjusts to your arm’s length by extending or retracting the trigger section. Even fully retracted may be too large for kids under the recommended age.

Water is heavy, so make sure that kids are able to carry the pouch when it’s full.

Oh, and this is an outdoor toy.
