What It Is

Crayola Model Magic is a soft, remarkably lightweight, modeling material that is easily manipulated and joined to make any form or shape and create colorful art and craft projects that will harden on their own. Model Magic is non-crumbling and non-staining, and it doesn’t cling to skin or room surfaces. It can be painted and added to plastic, wood, cardboard and other materials.

The Deluxe Variety Pack comes with fourteen individual bags of colorized Model Magic and ten project cards with pictures and easy to follow instructions for all skill levels.

Why It’s Fun

Most modeling materials require a lengthy firing in a kiln or an oven to harden finished projects. While this is fine for an art institute student, it’s not always feasible for quick home-based projects, especially when the artist is too young to use the oven unattended. Model Magic dries when exposed to air so all you have to do is sculpt and sit. Model Magic creations remain lightweight even after they harden.

To Be Aware Of

Model Magic usually air-dries within 24 hours depending on the amount used. Any unused portions left in the bag will also harden so try to use it all at one sitting.
