What It Is

The Rugrats Go Wild is the latest video game adventure for the cast of Nickelodeon’s animated series about life from a baby’s point of view. The game is based on the crossover movie that places the Rugrats together with the Wild Thornberrys—another Nick animated series about a girl who can talk to animals—for one wild adventure.

In the game, the Rugrats and the Wild Thornberrys survive a sinking ship and land on a deserted island rain forest where they get into all sorts of trouble, like chasing monkeys and throwing bananas at gorillas.

Why It’s Fun

Rugrats Go Wild, the game, gives fans a unique ability to play as both Rugrats and Wild Thornberrys characters. There are more than fifteen characters from the two shows in the game and they travel around the island through such settings as jungles, caves and beaches. There are also seven replayable action games within the larger game that give players the ability to beat their best score on three levels of difficulty.

Who’s Going To Love It

Fans of these two wildly successful Nickelodeon franchises will go ape over the chance to play a game featuring characters from their two favorite shows.

What To Be Aware Of

Yes, this is a children’s game but, believe it or not, it isn’t your typical no-brainer. The Rugrats Go Wild requires some pretty grown-up game playing skills, especially the replayable action games.
