What It Is:

"Ready 2 Rumble Boxing" is a one or to player video game that allows the player(s) to fight as the animated boxer of their choice from the system’s line-up. In one player Arcade mode, the player will fight against the other boxers as he rises up the ranks. Two players can choose their respective fighters and duke it out together. In Championship mode, the player can create and equip their own gym, choose and train a fighter, earn money by entering Prize Fights and, finally, attempt to move your boxer up the ranks by winning Title Fights.

Why It’s Fun:

The kooky graphics animation of the fighters, along with their respective bios, will be extremely amusing to kids and adults alike. Mastering the controls so that you become an effective boxer is an intriguing challenge. Of course, the ultimate enjoyment of the game is beating your opponent, winning the fight and moving up the ranks.

Anyone who enjoys the circus environment of pro wrestling or prize fighting will enjoy this game. Teenage boys, especially, will love flexing their cyber-muscles with "Ready 2 Rumble."

What to Be Aware Of:

Boxing is violent. Any time two adults climb into a ring together, whether it be real or animated, the intent of each is to pummel the other into submission. The fighters in this game do get bruised and show a hint of blood, but not to graphic excess. Although the animation of this game is a joy to observe, parents should be aware of the nature of the sport.
