What It Is

As the name implies, The New York Times Crosswords is a collection of crosswords puzzles for the Nintendo DS. There are more than 1,000 actual New York Times crossword puzzles in this game and each one allows you to write in the answer with the stylus just as you would write in the newspaper.

There are also a variety of settings that the newspaper version can't offer such as a variety of modes including Puzzle Me Quick!, Puzzle Week, or Crosswords Challenge, which includes time and difficulty settings you can adjust to your liking. An additional feature that you can't find in the paper are instant hints and the ability to challenge up to 3 other people wirelessly.
