What It Is
The Disney film, Enchanted, which is the story of Giselle, a princess banished
from a fairy tale animated land to modern-day Manhattan, has been number one at the box office for the past two weeks and shows no signs of loosing momentum. Now fans of the movie can bring the fun and adventure home with the Nintendo DS game version.
Players will play through the game as the characters Giselle, Prince Edward, and Pip as they experience adventures inspired by the movie as well as original game-play moments. Each character possesses unique skills and talents that they will use as they try to defeat the evil Queen Narissa. While playing as Giselle, players summon animals and gain powers by singing different songs. As Edward, players can ride a horse and use their swords to battle enemies. As Pip, players
experience the world from his perspective as a chipmunk and race against the clock in challenging mini-games.
Why It’s Fun
Enchanted, the game, does a great job of capturing the fun and excitement of
the movie and allowing gamers to play through and feel as if they are involved with the characters and adventures from the big screen.
Just like the movie, the game takes place in both the real-world New York City
and the fairytale land of Andalasia.
Who’s Going To Love It
This is really going to appeal to fans of the movie and within that group, younger kids, especially girls ages 7 to 11 will love the game the most.
What To Be Aware Of
In addition to the story-based game play, Enchanted also features a custom dress creator that allows gamers to create their own dresses, which they can then
trade wirelessly with other DS players.
Enchanted also offers a Spanish language option. |
