The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland
NewKidCo for Nintendo Game Boy Color
Ages 3 and Up

What It Is:

The purpose of this game is to help Elmo retrieve his blanket, which is blowing away from him and leading him into Grouchland. You must jump and avoid obstacles throughout the game in order to advance to the next level and, ultimately, catch up to the elusive blanket.

Why It’s Fun:

The colorful graphics are simple, yet amusing, as are the game’s plot and objective. If you are looking for a game for a youngster, or want one that does not require much critical thinking, "Grouchland" is for you.

Who’s Going to Love It:

Your younger children should have no problem with this Elmo game. The concept of catching up to the blanket is simple enough to be accessible to the youngest gamer.

What to Be Aware Of:

Some hand-eye coordination is necessary, as in all video games, but children will pick this up quickly.
